Prompted IDs are similar to personal identification numbers (PINs) that provide a secure authorization to approve all transactions. Each transaction made through a card on your account must be approved by the entry of these prompted IDs.
Your online account management website allows you to assign prompted IDs to individual cards or every card in your fleet. Follow these steps to learn more:
1. On the home page, select Cards > Prompted IDs.
Note: If you have access to multiple account codes and customer IDs, ensure the correct options are selected at the top of the home page.
2. The Manage Prompted IDs page opens. Click Add Prompted ID.

Note: Prompted IDs must be 6 digits in length. Ensure the prompted ID does not contain the following:
- No consecutive numbers (example: 123, 456)
- No repeating numbers (example: 333, 444)
- No leading zeros (example: 01234, 05678)
4. Click Save when finished.
5. The page refreshes and returns you to the Manage Prompted IDs page. Your new prompted ID now displays in the list and is active.
6. To edit a prompted ID, click the Edit gear icon. To delete a prompted ID, click the Delete icon.
7. Make any necessary changes. Then, click Save.
Note: You cannot change the prompted ID.
8. Your changes display immediately. In this example, the cardholder last name was changed from “Jones” to “Smith”.
